This course introduces financial management concepts to the non-financial manager. While concentrating on healthcare organizations this course is applicable to a wide range of organizations. Topics include introductions to financial and managerial accounting, the theory and practice of how financial information is gathered, reported and used to provide meaningful conclusions about the financial performance of health care organizations. The focus of this course is on how managers use financial data.
